Skuld is a graduate student in Neuroscience currently living in Southern California where the weather's sunny, time stands still, and the traffic blows balls. Despite having to structure her life around peak traffic hours, Skuld loves the warmth, the local indie bands, the gay clubs in West Hollywood, and most of all, the food. Skuld used to live in Boston so she really misses all of her friends there, her awesome frat/co-op house, her alma mater, the park across the street, and the bars she used to hang at. Skuld grew up watching old Chinese wuxia TV miniseries, so she's a huge fan of the Chinese martial arts/wuxia genre as well as Tang Dynasty poetry. It's the only fobby part of Skuld that she lets show sometimes. Nowadays, Skuld spends a great deal of her time at her kung-fu school practicing her asskicking, watching geeky television shows, and playing nerdy video games when she isn't slogging through the work required to get a Ph.D. Occasionally she's known for turning out a couple of words in the realm of slash/yaoi/gay fanfiction. Skuld also loves things like sleep and sleep, neither of which she gets enough of.
Skuld's favorite anime/manga is One Piece and her favorite beers are either light ales (read: weissbiers) or dark stouts and porters. Her favorite mixed drink is Gin & Tonic and her favorite leg is her right one.
Skuld is a pirate and she likes to say and do piratey things. Skuld's dream is to be the Pirate Scientist King and one of the kickassest professors that her students ever had.
